The CompHealth locum tenens training team showcased its revamped training program, CORE, in an open house in the Salt Lake office Oct. 18.

Participants enjoyed doughnuts, candy and apple cider and engaged in several activities, including puzzles, shooting dart guns at CORE-themed targets, stacking playing cards and tossing ping pong balls into plastic cups, to earn raffle tickets for prizes.

Through CORE, which stands for Creating Optimal Results Education, the training team will continue to onboard new employees and provide training, but the new structure includes four focus areas: sales training, Business Partner training, leadership training and continuing education.

Janet Cattani, manager of the CompHealth locum tenens operational training team, says that CORE's purpose is to provide training for both Business Partners and sales teams throughout their careers at the company.

"CORE is all-encompassing for training and development, but Boot Camp was for new hires," Janet shares. "We will be providing continuing education both for new and tenured employees. The new structure allows us to focus more on leadership and Business Partners in 2012. CORE is about growth, which is good for everyone."
