Name: Johnna Freud (like Donna with a J and like Sigmund -- but no relation)
Job title: Search consultant on the surgery team at CompHealth permanent placement in Norwalk, Conn.
Years with CHG: Six months
What is your favorite part about working at CHG? The people whom I work with in the Norwalk office.
What is your most memorable experience at CHG? The day my blog, Freud’s Insights, was launched on CompHealth.com.
If someone asked you what you do, how would you answer them? I place surgeons in permanent positions throughout the United States.
Why did you choose to work at CHG? CHG’s core value of Putting People First was the primary driver. Additionally, I had worked in permanent placement jobs in the past and with doctors in marketing research, so this job at CompHealth provided me an opportunity to combine these experiences in a company with strong ethical standards.
What is your favorite core value at CHG? Putting People First.
What do you like to do when you aren’t at work? I like to cook and bake, watch football, surf the Web, write, visit my friend’s horses in Saratoga and go to the beach.
What is your hidden talent? I’m a writer, antagonist to affect change and kugel (Jewish casserole) maker.
If you could choose your last meal, what would it be? Either pad thai or spinach dal.
What five things would you take to a deserted island? Where is this island? I’m assuming a warm island, so I’d bring Colony Pizza in Stamford, Conn., and everyone and everything inside (can we count that as one?), extreme sun screen with bug repellent, an iPod, snorkel/fins -- and maybe something to help me do a better job of counting to five!
In a movie about your life, who would you choose to star as you? Renee Zellweger.
