We Are Family: John and Jessica Kollman

Working together in the Salt Lake office allows husband and wife John and Jessica Kollman to have fun and celebrate special occasions together – including birthdays.

“I recently learned that Jess is eagerly trying to age me, just so that she can call me old,” John shares. “I turned 30 on January 18, and she decided she was going to surprise me with some balloons. The only problem was that she got black balloons, as if I am now over the hill! She has a pretty good sense of humor.”

Jessica, executive assistant for the CompHealth locum tenens division, often shares her sense of humor with co-workers at CHG and says she likes the people and the culture most here. She has worked at CHG for five years and referred John about three years ago.

“I loved it so much that I wanted to share it with John,” Jessica says. “It’s nice that there is always someone here for you if you need them.”

John, an associate recruiter on the CompHealth locum tenens family practice team, says Jessica raved about how great CHG was, so he decided to explore the company and was hired in 2009.

“It’s been a great decision on my part so far,” John expresses. “I like the fact that CHG supports a work/life balance. Not very many companies allow or encourage this.”

Jessica and John spend their lunch breaks together often and enjoy carpooling to and from the office and talking about company activities.

“I love that John is here to share every great experience that I have with CHG with me,” Jessica says. “I don’t have to go home and brag about what a fantastic company CHG is, because John is here!”

John also enjoys sharing work opportunities with Jessica – including the recent Day in the Life video she was featured in -- and seeing her throughout the day.

“When I am at work and need a quick pick-me-up, Jessica is there to provide a good laugh or keep me grounded, whatever the situation may be,” John expresses. “She’s a keeper!”
