CHG is sometimes referred to as a "big, happy family." For some employees, however, that phrase rings very true -- they work each day with their family, whether it be a spouse, sibling, son, daughter, mother or father. Get to know our real-life CHG families in this series of weekly stories, We Are Family!
We Are Family: Working Knights
They may not be filling midnight shifts, but the phrase "Working Knights" still applies to this tight-knit family at CHG.

Elise, Joelle, Clint and A'Neil pose for a photo outside CHG in Salt Lake City.
The Knights -- Clint, Joelle, A'Neil and Elise (Gibby) -- all work in the Salt Lake office and have among them a combined total of more than 30 years of CHG service. Though his sisters attribute their interest in CHG to a sister-in-law who worked at the company, Clint's career at CHG began when his sister took a job here.
"It all started with my sister Joelle, who was the first one to work here on the general ledger team," says Clint, CHG distribution clerk. "After her, it was me, working down in facility services. Then Elise started in accounts receivable, and then my younger sister Emily, who was only working here part-time before she got her nursing degree, started here. A’Neil, who works on the hospitalist team, started here last."
Joelle, CHG divisional finance manager, says that she also promoted the company to her siblings after she joined it 11 years ago.
"If there were any open positions I thought were a good fit, I’d let them know. After I found out there was a cash reward for referrals, I began making it my second job," she laughs.
Though they each work on different teams, all of the Knight family members enjoy their positions at CHG.
"I love the challenge of the day-to-day job," shares A'Neil, a CompHealth locum tenens client representative who has worked at CHG for more than five years. "Both my internal peers and external customers are amazing to work with. I love the personal and professional relationships that I’ve built over the years and am thrilled to be a part of the locums division. We have wonderful leaders, vision and fun!"
Elise, CHG accounts payable director, has worked at the company nearly eight years and enjoys the Putting People First value and a culture that allows a work-life balance, while Joelle likes the people most in her position. Clint, an employee for eight years, says CHG just feels like family -- even apart from his sisters.
"One of my favorite parts is getting out to deliver the mail and ringing my bell. There are several teams that give me the wave in return and even a couple of teams that respond back with some kind of phrase as well. It makes me smile just to see that they enjoy it as much as I do," Clint says.
Working with family members has its perks, too, the siblings say.
"We can put our heads together and come up with better ideas and solutions for the company since we know where each other is coming from," Elise shares. "Plus, you always have a lunch buddy!"
A'Neil agrees, saying, "You get to talk about the job with people who really know and understand. It’s a wonderful way to have a pulse on the company."
And Clint appreciates having his sisters around to answer questions and go to lunch with.
"It’s also nice to have my sisters work here because if for some reason my car were to break down, I know I can always ask them for a ride," he says.
Apart from eating lunch together and the willingness to share transportation and ideas, another perk of working with family appeals to Joelle.
"I can borrow a buck off of someone without paying it back," she says.
