What is your favorite part about working at CHG? The family-oriented and relaxed atmosphere. There is always something fun or ridiculous going on in allied; you never know what is going to happen next! It reminds you to relax and not take yourself too seriously.

What one story best describes your experience at CHG? My favorite experience was when a husband and wife team of physician assistants that I represent agreed to do a media spot for CompHealth. Several area TV stations came to interview them here at the SLC office, and I was privileged enough to sit in and listen to them describe what traveling means to them. They talked about how lucky they felt to be placed together as travelers and the amazing experiences they have had together on assignment. Sometimes I get caught up in making arrangements for the assignments, and it was wonderful to stop and enjoy the positive contributions that we make to the providers' and patients' lives.

If someone asked you what you do, how would you answer them? My friends joke that I’m like Chandler on Friends -- no one really knows what I do. But seriously, I just let them know that I’m a recruiter for healthcare, specifically for PAs or NPs in subspecialties. My favorite reactions are when I’m seeing a PA or NP for a personal health care appointment. I either get the cornered-animal look, or my appointment ends up taking twice as long because of all their questions about locums.

Why did you choose to work at CHG? I had been a primatologist since graduating from college. It was amazing and a ton of fun, but I was looking for a new challenge. I met this really great recruiter from talent acquisition that said my skills would be just perfect for what she had in mind -- and the rest is history.

What is your favorite event that you have participated in at CHG and why? I would say President’s Club. It was so great to meet new people from the other offices and show my husband a little more of what I do.

What is your favorite Core Value at CHG? Putting People First!

strong>If you could choose your last meal, what would it be? Pizza, barbacoa and ice cream.

What 5 things would you take to a deserted island? My Leatherman, my dogs -- Cody and Fletcher -- my husband and our fifth wheel.

In a movie about your life, who would you choose to star as you? Rachel McAdams. I think she is just darling.​
