CHG is sometimes referred to as a "big, happy family." For some employees, however, that phrase rings very true -- they work each day with their family, whether it be a spouse, sibling, son, daughter, mother or father. Get to know our real-life CHG families in this series of weekly stories, We Are Family!
We Are Family: Just Me and My Mom
Though they no longer read children's stories like the Mercer Mayer book that shares this article's title, Janet Cattani and her daughter, McKenzie Gammon, still share plenty of stories as they head to and from work at the Salt Lake office together.

Janet, manager of operations for the CompHealth locum tenens operational training team, has worked at CHG for four-and-a-half years and referred McKenzie in September 2010.
"I have had such a positive experience working for CompHealth that I want everyone to have that same experience," Janet shares. "McKenzie had a housing background, along with recruiting, and when Allied posted a housing opening, I knew she would also be a great fit."
McKenzie, who helps to staff laboratory professionals as assignment coordinator on the lab team for CompHealth allied health staffing in Salt Lake, says her mom had nothing but good to say about CompHealth, which is why she initially applied -- a decision that has paid off for her.
"Since September, I have gone from housing coordinator to assignment coordinator, and now I am slowly working into a junior sales representative position on the lab team in Allied," McKenzie says. "My favorite part of working at CompHealth is the culture we have here in the allied division."
Janet, who worked as a locum tenens recruiter and had a training background, too, applied at CHG when her husband saw an opening online for a training manager -- a job, she says, that was a "perfect fit.
" Though she enjoys the people she interacts with every day at CHG, she values her time with McKenzie most.
"I can drive in the HOV lane and get carpool parking," Janet expresses. "And I have two hours to spend with my daughter five days a week!"
McKenzie looks forward to the daily drives from Draper to the Salt Lake office, too.
"The best part of working with my mom is that she drives me almost every day and won’t let me pay for gas," McKenzie says. "Gotta love that woman!"
