Working together in the Salt Lake office allows husband and wife John and Jessica Kollman to have fun and celebrate special occasions together – including birthdays.

“I recently learned that Jess is eagerly trying to age me, just so that she can call me old,” John shares. “I turned 30 on January 18, and she decided she was going to surprise me with some balloons. The only problem was that she got black balloons, as if I am now over the hill! She has a pretty good sense of humor.”

Three-legged races, watermelon-eating contests and water balloon volleyball are just a few of the ways the CompHealth locum tenens division celebrated at its Town Hall meeting July 14 at Sugar House Park in Salt Lake City. Participants in the various team events earned bicycle parts, including wheels, seats and handlebars, and assembled 20 children's bicycles for local schools.

The Knights -- Clint, Joelle, A'Neil and Elise (Gibby) -- all work in the Salt Lake office and have among them a combined total of more than 30 years of CHG service. Though his sisters attribute their interest in CHG to a sister-in-law who worked at the company, Clint's career at CHG began when his sister took a job here.

While there wasn't enough wind to get their kites "up to the highest height," members of the hospital privileges team enjoyed the sunshine as they flew kites outside the building for a few minutes June 14. "Sometimes we all need to take a break and fly a kite," said Naomi Ward, hospital privileges team manager. "That's what we decided to do!"​
