After an impressive display of fearless fortitude in the face of a large pepperoni pizza and a 12-inch pumpkin pie , Shay has retired from United Way eating contests, but he continues to appreciate all that CHG does to make a difference in the lives of others.

At first, Lorrie Callaway, assignment coordinator at CompHealth locum tenens in Salt Lake City, Utah, was nervous to start her new job with CHG, but she soon found that with the training and overall culture of caring, she had nothing to worry about.

“I have had a few trying moments and a full task load, but CHG people, including the management and my peers, have proven above and beyond, that here people really do come first,” Lorrie says. “The best part about CHG is the actions of the managers, accompanied with their genuine desire for you to succeed and enjoying working here.”

Today, nearly three months after her starting date, Lorrie is enjoying her position for the business and diversity if offers, but her favorite part about her job is her team.

Liz Robbins and Silvana Despain didn’t expect to become best friends when Liz started at CHG and they began working together in the CompHealth locum tenens division more than four years ago, but that’s just what happened.

“Silvana and I have been friends since we met when I first started as a payroll rep for the medical oncology and radiation oncology sales teams,” Liz, administrative assistant for the business resource team, shares. “That was when the payroll reps in CompHealth locum tenens sat with the teams. She was one of the first people to befriend me, and it has grown from there.”
